It's Christmas time and what a great time of year it is too. Over the years, we all have had presents from family and friends that are really great. On the other hand, of course there have also been ones that really REALLY suck. And we all know what happens when we get them - after unwrapping, there is an awkward silence followed by your best effort at a sincere "oh that is great, just what I wanted, thank you so much". Anyway to make sure you are not a "crap christmas present giver", I have compiled a list of ultimate christmas presents to help you stay in the good books. Especially if the person you are giving it to has an interest in training, fitness and health. Here it is... Read This Article

Talk about jet-setting. I have just got back from Perth in Western Australia after two trips to the United States in a month. I attended another of Charles Poliquin's health and fitness seminars over in Perth - this time it was the BioSignature CE. For those who do not know, the BioSignature basically correlates your fat storage patterns with what is going on hormonally in your body. From there, we should be able find the best way for you to lose fat by attacking the right hormones with supplements, diet and lifestyle practices. Anyway the BioSignature CE is like the next level up and in this one we learnt a quick and easy way of muscle testing for supplements and common food intolerances (which is going to speed up our Gold Coast clients results so much it is going to be fricken insane!). Alongside this, I also thought I would share with you a few "takeaways" I got from the course.
I know so many people that have private health funds here on the Gold Coast & Brisbane and never use their included extras with their level of cover. Or if they do, they never use the full amount they can claim back from their health fund. So what I have decided to do is give my readers on the Gold Coast and in Brisbane the information they need so they actually make full use of the private health fund. Although the private health fund is obviously there just in case something bad happens to you in the future, it is also nice to get a good chunk of change at the end of each year for keeping yourself healthy.
Most of you know I have just got back from Las Vegas where I attended the Fitness Info Blueprint LIVE It was hosted by Bedros Keulian and Craig Ballantyne who are some really big players over there in Northern America. Now on the way back I had the pleasure of being stuck in LAX for two nights due to a flight "complications". Believe me it is not that exciting. Anyway my lost post I talked about the importance of only "concerning yourself with the controllables". This post I will share with you guys what I did with my training while I was stuck in LAX.
It is almost the end of the January in the new year. Right about now is when all those great life changing resolutions made on the 1st of January usually come screeching to halt and we return to those negative habits of ours we tried to eliminate. Now if you think you are the only one that cannot stick to your resolution, do not worry – you are definitely not alone. I am not ashamed to admit but more than my fair share of resolutions have met an early demise. In fact one of the reasons that I managed to sit through university psychology lectures all those years ago is because of failed resolutions & goals. So this month I have decided to share what I have learned from formal education, my work changing clients’ lifestyles and of course my own personal experience.
I have a natural masculine truth that will stand the test of time for as long as I am associated with exercise in any shape or form. The only thing that males enjoy more than drawling over the hot blonde on the cross trainer is training their arms. However despite the time and effort people invest in ‘sculpting their guns’, most trainees only make minor progress, if any at all. So I have decided to give five reasons that are holding you back from true arm strength and size and, especially if your are male, picking up in the nightclub. Here we go...
